We are looking for a Systems Engineer proficient in Windows Technologies to join our Site Reliability Engineering Team in Hyderabad. This is a hands-on technical role within a cross-functional team responsible for contributing to infrastructure engineering projects and maintaining and improving the firm's technology platforms. This role offers the opportunity to be part of an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging team and organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY: The Windows Engineer will work on designing, implementing, and managing the firm’s Windows Infrastructure in collaboration with other IT Infrastructure teams. You will be involved in engineering project work and tier-2/3 operational support to increase the overall supportability and reliability of the firm’s enterprise technology environment. Additional responsibilities will include upgrading and/or re-designing existing infrastructure for improved performance and stability.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR: The ideal candidate should hold- Basic qualifications:
- A B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering or other technical disciplines, and at least 5 years of work experience in the Windows domain
- A good understanding of Windows fundamentals and extensive experience with one or more of the following technologies – Active Directory, ADFS, AzureAD, SCCM, SCOM, Hyper-V/S2D, VMware, Failover Clustering, Exchange, SQL Server, etc.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and experience with modern configuration management and development tools (e.g., git, continuous integration systems)
- A foundational knowledge of computer networks and TCP/IP networking
- Experience in handling L2/L3 escalations from Helpdesk/NOC and proactively identifying and fixing issues in the production environment
- Previous experience with the design and end-to-end implementation of performant, reliable, and secure systems, and with troubleshooting using diagnostic and tracing tools Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with C# and/or Python
- Experience in Linux or Storage systems
