Software Engineer - Web

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain highly responsive and interactive web applications.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Own end-to-end delivery - from technical design to deployment and monitoring.
• Optimise for speed, scalability, SEO, and accessibility.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using modern web frameworks and tools.
• Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and bugs and resolve them.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Requirements:

• 1- 3 years of experience in frontend development with strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and modern web ecosystems.
• Experience with state management tools like Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.
• Solid understanding of web performance, browser rendering, and SEO best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a good grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and frontend build tools like Webpack, Vite, etc.
• Experience in writing unit and integration tests (e. g., Jest, React Testing Library).
• A good sense of UX/UI and a keen eye for detail.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with server-side rendering (Next.js ).
• Exposure to internationalisation, A/B testing, and analytics integration.
• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
