About this role
Position: Python Developer
Type: Contractor (Part-time)
Location: Remote
Compensation: $30-$130/hr
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain robust backend applications using Python and Django.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Leverage AWS services for application deployment, scalability, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
Requirements
- Have expert-level proficiency in Python and the Django framework.
- Have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including database design and optimization.
- Possess strong knowledge of AWS, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring tools.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Have the ability to work independently and proactively solve problems in a remote team setting.
