Software Engineer – Python | Remote

Position: Python Developer

Type: Contractor (Part-time)

Location: Remote

Compensation: $30-$130/hr

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust backend applications using Python and Django.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Leverage AWS services for application deployment, scalability, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.

Requirements

• Have expert-level proficiency in Python and the Django framework.
• Have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including database design and optimization.
• Possess strong knowledge of AWS, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring tools.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Have the ability to work independently and proactively solve problems in a remote team setting.
