Software Engineer-Mobile Team

Job Summary

Role Overview We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Microlise Mobile Team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development, testing, and delivery of high-quality software solutions while collaborating closely with product owners, scrum teams, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Telecommunication, CDAC, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Angular (version 17 and above).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Exposure to unit testing frameworks such as Mocha or Jasmine.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git, AzureDevops, or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively both within a team and as an individual contributor.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with hybrid mobile application frameworks such as Cordova or Ionic.
• Exposure to native platform programming on Android or iOS.
• Knowledge of KnockoutJS, or similar front-end frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST API development.
• Knowledge of SQL and C#.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions in line with company development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with the scrum team to deliver high-quality product increments.
• Understand requirements from the Product Owner and contribute actively to refinement discussions.
• Maintain diligence around code quality, product quality, testing, and maintainability.
• Produce technical documentation for software modules being delivered.
