About this role
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex software applications for industrial automation systems using Python programming language.
- Troubleshoot issues with existing software applications to identify root causes of failures and implement fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features into existing systems.
- Conduct thorough logging analysis to diagnose system errors and optimize performance.
Job Requirements :
- 10-16 years of experience in software engineering with expertise in industrial automation industry.
- Strong understanding of data validation, debugging techniques, and failure analysis methodologies (DBMS).
- Proficiency in Linux operating system administration and familiarity with RTOS (Real-Time Operating System) concepts.
- Experience working on NPI (New Product Introduction) projects from concept to production launch.
1. Good knowledge of Linux/Unix/RTOS system device diagnostics
2. Good fundamental of C/C++/Python.. programming and shell scripting
3. Experience working on multi-functional teams with electrical, software, and test engineers to develop product
4. Strong analysis skills, motivation, logical thinking, easy-going but rigorous
5. Experience in NPI work flow is a plus
6. Direct Product Test and/or Software Support for manufacturing process prior to shipment also a plus
7. B.S. Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Focus
