Software Engineer (Laravel+Vue.js/React.js)

About the Role Zignuts Technolab is looking for a skilled Laravel + Frontend Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate is a versatile full-stack developer who is strong in

Laravel (PHP) on the backend and comfortable working with modern frontend frameworks like

Vue.js and

React.js . Experience with WordPress is also required, as several of our client projects involve CMS-based development. Exposure to

Python or

Shopify is a plus but not mandatory. You will work closely with project managers, designers, and fellow developers to build, maintain, and scale web applications for our clients across various industries. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using

Laravel framework.

• Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using

Vue.js /React.js.

• Develop and customize

WordPress websites, themes, and plugins as per project requirements.

• Write clean, well-structured, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional interfaces.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross- browser compatibility.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
• Work with the QA team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
• Estimate effort and timelines for assigned tasks and communicate progress to the project manager.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to accelerate coding, debugging, documentation, and testing while maintaining code quality and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in

Laravel (PHP) development.

• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with

MySQL or other relational databases.

• Excellent knowledge of

SQL , schema designs and databases

• Practical experience with WordPress (theme customization, plugin development, or custom builds).
• Strong working knowledge of

Vue.js/React.js for frontend development.

• Familiarity with state management libraries (Vuex, Redux, Pinia, etc.).
• Solid understanding of

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) .

• Understanding of Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, attention to detail skills and ability to learn new concepts rapid fast.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar) and willingness to incorporate them into daily workflow.

Good to Have

• Working knowledge of

Python .

• Experience with

Shopify theme/app development or customization.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Experience with cloud/hosting platforms (AWS, Digital Ocean, etc.).
