Software Engineer (Junior), Endpoint Systems

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineer (Junior), Endpoint Systems. The person in this role will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that power endpoint observability, control, and AI usage measurement. Day-to-day tasks include implementing and testing software features, writing clean and maintainable code, integrating with third-party systems and APIs, and troubleshooting issues related to endpoint data collection and monitoring. The role also involves collaborating with senior engineers and product teams to refine requirements, improve system performance and reliability, and ensure secure, compliant handling of AI-related data on endpoints. The engineer will participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development and deployment practices.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
• Experience with Software Development and Programming, preferably in modern languages commonly used for backend services.
• Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration with external platforms or observability tools.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them to design robust, maintainable systems.
• Familiarity with endpoint systems, distributed systems, or observability/monitoring platforms is a plus.
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git), unit testing, and basic CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment, with clear communication and proactive problem-solving.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
