Software Engineer - Java

We are seeking a

Software Engineer – Java with GCP to join our team and contribute to building robust, scalable applications. In this role, you will leverage your strong Java expertise and cloud knowledge to design and develop high-quality solutions within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Java applications using modern frameworks
• Build and maintain web services including REST and SOAP
• Implement microservices architecture for distributed systems
• Develop event-sourced systems leveraging messaging technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Agile and Scrum environments
• Solve complex technical problems with effective solutions
• Contribute to application design and architecture decisions
• Ensure high-quality code through best practices and standards

Requirements

• 4-6 years of professional Java development experience
• Proficiency in Spring framework (Core, MVC, Boot)
• Understanding of application design and microservices architecture
• Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP) and JMS
• Working knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-sourced systems
• Knowledge of Elastic Search
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Background in e-commerce
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English
