We are looking for a passionate Java Software Engineer to join our growing team in Ahmedabad.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Innovate & Lead: Collaborate with a skilled, cross-functional team to design and build enterprise-grade microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native AWS technologies
- Own End-to-End: Take full ownership of features from MySQL schema design and REST API development to async processing pipelines and cloud deployment on AWS
- AI Integration: Build and integrate LLM/AI APIs with prompt engineering, structured output parsing, token management, and audit logging for production AI-powered features
- Technical Excellence: Develop, execute, and maintain robust unit, integration, and contract tests to deliver high-quality, reliable applications
- Seamless Integration: Connect internal microservices and third-party services with resilience patterns retry, circuit breaker, and rate limiting ensuring system reliability at scale
- Adhere to Best Practices: Apply industry-leading design patterns, coding principles, and architectural standards to consistently deliver exceptional software solutions
- Agile Champion: Work within an Agile ecosystem, contributing to fast-paced, iterative development cycles with a focus on continuous improvement and value delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4+ years of strong, hands-on experience in Java back-end development with deep expertise in Spring Boot 3.x and related enterprise frameworks
- Proven experience with microservices architecture — service decomposition, inter-service communication, MonoRepos, and distributed systems
- Strong MySQL experience — schema design, query optimisation, indexing strategies, Flyway migrations, and Hibernate/JPA
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM/AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) — including prompt construction, JSON response parsing, token budget management, and resilience handling
- Practical AWS experience with S3, SQS, SNS, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch using AWS SDK v2
- Familiarity with Docker and AWS-native deployment (ECS/EKS) and CI/CD pipeline tooling
- Solid grasp of Design Patterns, Architectural Best Practices, UML, and Application Design principles
- Ability to write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and REST API test cases effectively (JUnit 5, Mockito, Testcontainers, WireMock)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset
