Software Engineer II

Overview

Join the Foundry Agents Platform team and help build reliable experiences that enable developers and enterprises to create, deploy, and operate AI agents. You will design and implement platform features, learn from experienced engineers, and contribute across the development lifecycle for a high-priority CoreAI charter. Responsibilities

Responsibilities 

• Design, implement, test, and maintain features for the Foundry Agents Platform.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and partner teams to translate requirements into reliable solutions.
• Write maintainable code and participate in design and code reviews.
• Improve service quality through automated testing, monitoring, and operational tooling.
• Diagnose and resolve defects and production issues.
• Contribute to release planning and deliver committed milestones.
• Learn and apply distributed-systems, cloud, and AI-platform engineering practices.
  
  

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production-grade software and services at scale, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact solutions.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and testing cloud services, web services, or distributed applications.
• Familiarity with Azure, Kubernetes, microservices, REST APIs, or event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with AI/ML platforms, generative AI, or developer tooling.
• Experience with automated testing, monitoring, debugging, and production support.
