Software Engineer HMI Application

We are looking for a Software Engineer with experience in Android application development and automotive HMI. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java/Kotlin, Android architecture, and automotive Android platforms (AOSP/AAOS).

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Java/Kotlin.
• Build and enhance Android HMI system and user applications.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle.
• Work with Android architecture and framework components.
• Support software integration, validation, debugging, and log analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Support and guide junior developers when required.

• Android Studio and Jetpack Compose
• Figma, UI Wireframing, and Prototyping
• Jenkins and Linux tools
• Git, GitLab, and Gerrit
• IBM DOORS, IBM RTC/EWM, IBM Rhapsody, and JIRA
• Integration and Validation Methodologies
• Debugging and Log Analysis
• Agile/Scrum and A-SPICE

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Science.
• Overall experience of 5–8 years, including 2–3 years of automotive Android software development experience.
• Hands-on experience in Android application development using Java/Kotlin.
• Experience in automotive Android HMI development for system and user applications.
• Good understanding of Android architecture and framework.

• Knowledge of A-SPICE.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to support junior developers and demonstrate ownership.
