Software Engineer (Frontend), Automation Testing

Job Summary

Youll work across Automation Testing, starting with performance testing: load-testing APIs at scale. The role leans toward the product experience: how users set up and run tests, and read and debug their results.

Responsibilities

• Build features that help developers test their APIs and automate those tests, locally, in CI and in the cloud
• Make test runs fast, reliable and easy to debug, at any scale
• Build the results and reporting that show users what passed, what failed and why
• Ship end to end, from design to production, with well-tested code
• Review code, contribute to design, and own what you ship in production, including on-call

Requirements

• 3+ years building and shipping production software
• Strong fundamentals and clean, well-tested code
• Strong React and TypeScript, and a record of shipping complex, data-heavy interfaces
• Experience with charts, real-time data and frontend performance
• Product sense, and comfort working on the backend APIs your UI uses (Node.js)

Nice to have

• Experience with load-testing tools such as k6, JMeter, Gatling or Locust
• Experience with API testing, developer tools or test automation
