Meet the Team

Join Cisco Meraki's engineering team building the next generation of cloud-managed IT. You'll help evolve the Meraki Dashboard and AI Assistant, combining full-stack development with Generative AI and Agentic AI to create intuitive, intelligent experiences for customers managing millions of network devices worldwide.

Your Impact

• Build and scale AI Assistant features using Generative AI and Agentic AI workflows.
• Develop full-stack tools that enable customers to configure and monitor network infrastructure.
• Partner with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to deliver AI-powered solutions to real-world IT challenges.
• Own projects end-to-end, from concept and prototyping through production.
• Solve complex scalability, performance, and reliability challenges across a large Ruby on Rails application.
• Share technical expertise and influence engineering practices across teams.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience with backend web technologies, preferably Ruby on Rails.
• 1+ years of experience building web UIs with React and Redux.
• Strong experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL and query optimization.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ownership of projects from conception through production.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Passion for solving open-ended problems and working effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building cloud-based applications and services.
• Experience developing Android applications.
• Knowledge of network protocols across local and wide-area networks.
• Interest or experience in Generative AI, Agentic AI, or intelligent automation.
• Experience contributing to large-scale Ruby on Rails applications.
