Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Build high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, delivering scalable, secure, and user-friendly mobile experiences.
- Develop reusable UI components, integrate REST APIs, optimize application performance, and ensure smooth customer journeys across payments, rewards, credit, and financial services.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, QA, and DevOps teams to transform product requirements into production-ready features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while participating in code reviews, debugging, CI/CD workflows, release management, and continuous engineering improvements.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, mobile best practices, and feature ownership while maintaining high standards for application quality and reliability.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2–4 years of professional Android development experience with strong expertise in Kotlin and hands-on experience building production mobile applications.
- Mandatory experience with Jetpack Compose, including state management, UI architecture, layouts, navigation, and modern Android development practices.
- Strong understanding of REST API integration, asynchronous programming, secure mobile development, Git, and Android application lifecycle.
- Experience building complex consumer-facing mobile applications with a focus on performance, scalability, maintainability, and clean architecture.
- Exposure to fintech, B2C products, startup environments, Google Play releases, Java, animations, or Material Design guidelines will be an added advantage.
