Software Engineer 2

Summary: We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with a strong background in UX writing and digital content principles. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to create clear and concise content across multiple touchpoints. This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure consistency and alignment with business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Write clear and concise content across multiple touchpoints, including labels, navigational elements, dialog boxes, menus, email templates, tutorials, and notifications.
• Drive consensus across teams and advocate for solutions that balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure consistency is maintained across the application.
• Review business requirements to create copy that fits.
• Participate in the product development process to ensure the design is intuitive.
• Conduct competitor analysis and user research to inform content strategy.
• Optimize and refine existing copy based on changing requirements.
• Create and maintain a content style guide and rationale documentation for in-app content standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, Technology, Engineering courses, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in in-app content (UX) writing.

Required Skills:

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Working knowledge of UX and digital content principles.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Figma.
• Experience working with B2B and Cat digital, construction/mining/Energy & Transportation industries.
