Software Engineer 2

You will work on the onboarding flow, the part of the product that end users interact with directly. Users enter their details, scan an ID, take a selfie, and upload documents. The flow is a React app embedded in customer products through Web, Flutter, and React Native SDKs. Each customer configures their own steps, theme, and language, so the codebase must work well across many setups, devices, and browsers. This is a small team, and you will own large parts of the product from day one.

Responsibilities:

• Build and improve onboarding screens for individuals (KYC) and businesses (KYB).
• Work on camera features such as ID capture, selfie, and liveness, and make them reliable on iPhones, low-end Android phones, and inside mobile apps.
• Maintain and improve Web, Flutter, and React Native SDKs so the flow feels native inside customer apps.
• Keep the flow fast and stable, and use data to identify and fix points where users drop off.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers, and contribute to backend work in Python when needed.

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of experience building and shipping web products in production.
• Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, and React skills, including performance and state management.
• Good HTML and CSS skills, with experience in mobile-first, responsive layouts.
• Good understanding of how mobile browsers work, including camera access, permissions, and cross-browser issues.
• Solid problem-solving and DSA fundamentals.
• Ability to own features end-to-end, from unclear requirements to production.
• Strong attention to user experience and the ability to notice when a flow feels off.
• Flutter or React Native experience.
• Experience building an SDK or library used by other developers.
• Experience with camera, video, or document scanning features.
• Some backend experience in Python or Node.js .
• Background in fintech or identity verification.
