Software Engineer 2

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer 2 to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable full-stack applications with a strong emphasis on leveraging modern AI technologies. You will work cross-functionally to build intelligent solutions, manage complex data pipelines, and ensure our systems are highly performant and reliable.

Responsibilities:

• Full-Stack Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and backend microservices using React, Node.js, Python, and Golang.
• AI Engineering: Implement and integrate cutting-edge AI technology stacks (such as LLMs, machine learning models, and AI-driven APIs) into core product workflows to deliver intelligent features.
• Data Engineering: Develop and optimise data pipelines, transformations, and analytics workflows utilising data engineering tools like dbt and Apache Spark.
• System Architecture: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to architect and deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while proactively participating in code reviews to uphold standard engineering practices.

Requirements:

• Experience: 4 to 6 years of proven professional software engineering experience.
• Frontend Development: Proficiency in building responsive and interactive user interfaces utilising React.
• Backend Development: Strong backend development experience and deep understanding of server-side logic using any of the languages: Node.js, Python, and Golang. Strong knowledge of API design and development with modern frameworks, Designing principles (LLD, HLD) and OOPs are a plus.
• AI Tech Stack: Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with integrating modern AI tech stacks, frameworks, and tooling.
• Data Engineering: Practical knowledge of data engineering principles and data transformation tools, specifically dbt and Apache Spark.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

• Containerization and Orchestration: Experience in Docker and deploying, managing, and scaling containerised applications using Kubernetes (K8S).
• CI/CD Pipelines: Proven track record of setting up, utilising, and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, etc.
• Observability and Monitoring: Familiarity with modern observability, telemetry, and incident management tools such as New Relic (NR).
