Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our team in Bangalore.
Responsibilities - Analyze business requirements and prepare technical design specifications.
- Develop and modify COBOL, CICS, JCL, and DB2 programs based on enhancement requests.
- Perform impact analysis for application changes and new functionalities.
- Execute unit testing and support SIT/UAT activities.
- Debug and resolve application defects and production issues.
- Create and maintain technical and functional documentation.
- Monitor batch jobs and ensure successful completion of scheduled processes.
- Optimize application and SQL performance to improve efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, support teams, and project managers for successful delivery of enhancements and releases.
