Software Development Manager

Role & responsibilities

• We are looking for a technically grounded Software Development Manager to lead delivery for modern backend and API-driven solutions across our global payment processing platforms. 
• You will combine API domain expertise, strong people management, delivery ownership, and Agile execution. You will manage and develop engineering talent, partner with product and architecture teams.
• Drive Scrum ceremonies and delivery planning, and ensure teams follow strong engineering practices across CI/CD, testing, security, reliability, and operational excellence. 

Preferred candidate profile

• Payments or Fintech Domain: Experience working in payments, banking, fintech, or other high-volume transaction processing environments, with exposure to security, compliance, and operational resilience expectations. 
• Apigee and API Management Platforms: Hands-on experience with Apigee Edge, Apigee X, or similar API management platforms, including API proxy design, policies, traffic management, security, monitoring, and operational support, along with exposure to cloud-native application delivery. 
• Leadership and Team Development: Experience hiring, onboarding, mentoring, succession planning, improving team operating models, and helping teams adopt modern Agile and DevOps practices.
