Software Development Manager

We are looking for a Backend Developer with data engineering experience to build scalable backend applications and data processing solutions.

The core requirements for the job include the following:

Must Have:

• Java OR Scala OR Kotlin; at least one is mandatory.
• Spark / PySpark experience.
• Strong coding and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on backend development experience.
• Good exposure to data engineering/data processing.

Good to Have:

• GCP experience; preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with large-scale data processing.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and data pipelines.

Important:

• Spark/PySpark alone is not enough.
• Candidates must have Java, Scala, or Kotlin experience.
• Strong practical coding skills are very important.
• Candidates should have hands-on development experience, not just theoretical knowledge.

Preferred Profiles:

• Backend-focused: Java / Scala / Kotlin + Backend + Spark/PySpark + Data Engineering.
• Data Engineering-focused: Spark/PySpark + Java/Scala/Kotlin + Strong Coding + Backend/Data Engineering.
• GCP is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
