Software Development Engineer

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our small but fast-moving engineering team. You will own features end-to-end, work directly with senior engineers, and see the impact of your code in production quickly. This role is well suited for someone early in their career who wants to grow quickly in a high-ownership environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build and ship features across the backend (Go) and frontend (Angular), taking ownership from design through deployment.
• Work with data and messaging infrastructure such as MongoDB and RabbitMQ to build reliable, scalable workflows.
• Participate actively in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback.
• Debug and resolve issues in production systems, with strong operational ownership.
• Collaborate closely with product and operations teams to translate requirements into well-designed, testable code.
• Contribute to improving engineering practices, tooling, and team documentation as the product evolves.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in software development in a product or startup environment.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline preferred.
• Hands-on experience with any one backend language; Go experience is a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to learn a new language or framework quickly.
• Strong fundamentals and the ability to write code that is maintainable and well-reasoned.
• Comfortable working in a small team with minimal hand-holding and high ownership.
• Good instincts for debugging and breaking down ambiguous problems.
• Clear communication skills in code, reviews, and conversation.
• Exposure to Go, Angular, MongoDB, or RabbitMQ.
