Position- Software Development Engineer

Experience-1+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in the IT/software industry.

Educational Qualification-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP/OOPS) concepts and their practical application.
• Ability to write clean, readable, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Technical Skills Good to Have

• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments.
• Experience with Bash/Shell scripting.
• Exposure to PySpark and large-scale data processing.
• Familiarity with software development practices such as version control, code reviews, testing, and debugging.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications using Python and SQL.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Design and implement maintainable and scalable software components.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and processing.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement appropriate fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding and development standards.
• Work closely with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions within agreed timelines.
• Write unit tests and perform adequate validation to ensure the quality and reliability of the implementation.
• Proactively identify potential issues, dependencies, and areas for improvement.
