Software Development Engineer in Test II

GreyOrange is seeking a highly motivated Software Development Engineer in Test II to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and implementing automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and create comprehensive testing strategies that encompass functional, integration, and performance testing.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to define testing criteria and ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects in software applications, working with the development team to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design and implementation.
• Monitor and report on testing progress, results, and metrics to ensure timely releases.
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices in the QA and testing lifecycle.
• Stay updated on the latest testing tools, trends, and technologies to continually enhance testing processes.
• Developing and maintaining automated test scripts for software quality assurance.
• Identifying and reporting defects systematically.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing within the development lifecycle.
• Contributing to the improvement of testing processes and frameworks.

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience in test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Proficient in version control systems such as Git.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• A strong background in software development, particularly in test automation.
