Software Development Engineer II

Responsibilities:

• Work on highly maintainable, unit-tested software components in a microservices-based architecture on cloud infrastructures (GCP, AWS).
• Take end-to-end ownership of product/feature from design and code through to deployment.
• Ensure quality at every level: problem-solving, design, code, and bug fixes.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure smooth sprint execution.
• Own and unblock production issues, troubleshoot, and fix on priority.
• Mentor and help other team members; ensure high overall team productivity.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience building scalable RESTful/SOAP microservice systems.
• Good at high-level design, implementation, and design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms and their time/space complexities.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring.
• Excellent coding skills to convert design into code fluently.
• Strong technical aptitude and solid CS fundamentals.
• B. Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college.
