About this role
About the role
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to build the frontend and mobile experiences behind RevRag AIs agents, working in Flutter or React Native. You will work closely with the product, design, backend, and AI teams to build fast, polished, production-grade apps and SDKs that run inside our customers own products.
This is a hands-on role with strong ownership. You will ship real production code used by enterprise BFSI customers, write and review code to a high standard, and help raise the bar for the engineers around you.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and ship high-quality mobile and frontend features in Flutter or React Native that run in production for enterprise customers.
- Design, build, and maintain mobile SDKs that customers embed in their own apps to run RevRag AIs in-app agents, with clean APIs, clear documentation, and stable releases.
- Build voice and real-time experiences, including streaming audio, live transcripts, low-latency UI, and smooth handling of network and device changes.
- Build reusable UI components and frontend modules, and keep them consistent with our design system.
- Integrate apps and SDKs with backend APIs, WebSockets, and third-party services.
- Own app and SDK releases, including App Store and Play Store publishing, versioning, build pipelines, and CI/CD.
- Monitor crashes, performance, and app health, and fix issues quickly.
- Optimize performance, startup time, memory use, battery use, and accessibility across devices and OS versions.
- Work with backend and AI engineers to turn model and agent capabilities into smooth user experiences.
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code, and lead code reviews that set the engineering standard.
- Mentor junior developers and interns, and share knowledge across the team.
- Estimate work, flag risks early, and communicate trade-offs clearly to product and founding teams.
Experience
- 3-6 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on frontend or mobile development.
- Strong, hands-on experience building and shipping production apps in Flutter or React Native (either one), with at least one app live on the App Store or Play Store.
- Experience owning features from design handoff to production release.
Technical Skills
- Strong fundamentals in Dart (for Flutter) or JavaScript and TypeScript (for React Native), and a good grasp of mobile architecture patterns.
- Solid understanding of state management, navigation, component architecture, and app lifecycle.
- Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, and client-server integration, including authentication, error handling, and offline behavior.
- Experience with native integrations, such as platform channels or native modules in Android (Kotlin or Java) and iOS (Swift or Objective-C).
- Experience with publishing and releasing apps, including signing, store reviews, and release management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds, for example GitHub Actions, Fastlane, Codemagic, or Bitrise.
- Experience with crash and performance monitoring tools, for example Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, or similar.
- Strong skills in debugging, profiling, and performance optimization, and comfortable with Git and code review workflows.
- Ability to write clean, tested code, including unit, widget, or integration tests.
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Good to Have
- Experience building or maintaining an SDK, including versioning, backward compatibility, and developer documentation.

- Knowledge of both Flutter and React Native, or experience with React and web frontends.
- Experience with native Android or iOS development.
- Experience building conversational, AI-driven, or generative UI interfaces.
- Experience in fintech, BFSI, or SaaS products.
- Basic backend awareness (Python, Node.js, or similar) to build features end to end.
