Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of four years of professional experience
- Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring developers, including work allocation, delivery ownership, and performance feedback.
- Expertise in JavaScript (ES6) and Node JS is a must
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- In-depth knowledge of frameworks like Express JS and Restify
- Experience in building backend services for handling data at large scale is a must
- Ability to architect high-availability applications and servers on cloud adhering to best practices microservices architecture is preferable
- Experience working with MySQL and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and MongoDB
- Experience writing complex SQL queries
- In-depth knowledge of Node JS concepts like the event loop
- Ability to perform technical deep-dives into code
- Experience building and deploying GenAI-powered backend services or tools such as prompt routers, embedding search, and RAG pipelines
- Understanding of communication using WebSockets
- Good understanding of clean architecture and SOLID principles
- Basic knowledge of AWS and Docker containerization is preferable
- Experience in Python is a plus
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude to accelerate development, assist in code reviews, and support efficient coding practices is a plus
- Familiarity with Git
