Role Description The Software Developer role at UNIPREP is a full-time remote position focused on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications and platform features. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, implementing back-end services and APIs, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver secure and scalable solutions. The Software Developer will participate in code reviews, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimize application performance, and contribute to architectural decisions. The role also involves working with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, estimate development efforts, and ensure timely delivery of new features and improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles.
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience with Back-End Web Development, including building and integrating APIs.
- Familiarity with modern web frameworks, databases, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to write maintainable, testable code and use unit/integration testing tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices is a plus.
