Role Description The Software Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support UNIPREP’s platform features and user experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, implementing back-end services and APIs, troubleshooting and resolving bugs, and collaborating with product, design, and QA teams to deliver secure and scalable functionality. The role also involves participating in code reviews, contributing to technical documentation, and continuously improving performance and reliability. This is a full-time remote role, requiring proactive communication, strong ownership of deliverables, and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development concepts
• Hands-on experience in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Practical skills in Back-End Web Development, including APIs and database integration
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Understanding of software testing, debugging, and performance optimization
• Ability to analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and document work clearly
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with cloud platforms, RESTful services, and security best practices is an advantage
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team
