Role expects proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language and the ability to instrument code to produce metrics, logs, and traces. Open to fresh graduates (specified batches). What you'll do

• Design high-performing cloud-native applications and APIs using Cloud Run, GKE, and Compute Engine; implement asynchronous and event-driven architectures using Pub/Sub, Eventarc, and Cloud Tasks.
• Create and deploy APIs (HTTP REST, gRPC) and manage them via Apigee or Cloud API Gateway.
• Build and test containerized applications using Cloud Build and Artifact Registry; write unit tests and optimize code with Gemini Code Assist.
• Emulate Google Cloud services locally using the Google Cloud CLI for development and unit testing.
• Deploy applications to Cloud Run and GKE with traffic-splitting strategies (A/B testing, gradual rollouts); configure health checks and Horizontal Pod Autoscalers.
• Secure application artifacts using Binary Authorization and manage secrets with Secret Manager and Cloud KMS.
• Authenticate services using Workload Identity Federation and Application Default Credentials; implement least-privileged access and Identity-Aware Proxy where applicable.
• Instrument code for metrics, logs, and traces using Google Cloud Observability; use Error Reporting and Trace IDs to identify and resolve issues.
• Manage data connections across Cloud SQL, Spanner, Bigtable, and Firestore.
