💼 Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineer / Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software applications and digital platforms that power our editorial and publishing ecosystem. We're hiring across all levels — from freshers starting their engineering journey to senior engineers ready to drive architecture and technical strategy.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and software solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
• Develop and integrate APIs and backend services
• Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability
• (Senior candidates) Lead system architecture decisions and mentor junior developers
• Continuously improve development processes and workflows

🛠 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar
• Experience with frontend or backend frameworks (React, Node.js, Django, etc.)
• Familiarity with API development and integration
• Understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL)
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
• Freshers: academic projects, internships, or personal GitHub portfolio welcome
• Senior candidates: 4+ years of experience with system design and team leadership a strong plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred)
