Software Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain UI features using Angular, TypeScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and RxJS.
• Build reusable components, shared UI patterns, and maintainable frontend architecture aligned with engineering standards.
• Integrate the UI with REST APIs and collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts, error handling, and data flows.
• Improve frontend performance, reliability, browser compatibility, and overall user experience.
• Contribute to Java and Spring Boot services, including REST API implementation, integration, debugging, and production support.
• Understand service-layer validation, exception handling, logging, and data access patterns to support end-to-end delivery.
• Collaborate effectively across frontend and backend.
• Translate business and operational workflows into clear, intuitive, and efficient user journeys.
• Apply responsive design, accessibility, validation, and usability principles across Halo screens.
• Partner with users and stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve the product experience.
• Create and maintain unit, component, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce standards for code quality, security, testability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot UI and service integration defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks using appropriate diagnostic tools.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript in enterprise-scale web applications.
• Strong knowledge of Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Good understanding of Angular architecture, components, services, routing, forms, dependency injection, and state management patterns.
• Practical experience with RxJS and asynchronous data handling.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and handling authentication, authorization, validation, and errors.
• Working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, dependency injection, exception handling, and backend integration as secondary skills.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks and end-to-end automation.
• Understanding of web accessibility, secure coding, frontend performance, and modern browser developer tools.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated quality checks, Agile delivery, and production support.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.

Experience:

• Experience with modern Angular versions, Bootstrap or comparable component libraries, and reusable design systems.
• Experience with Playwright, VI Test, Jest, Jasmine, Karma, or similar testing tools.
• Exposure to Maven or Gradle, JUnit, Mockito, API documentation, logging, and service-level troubleshooting.
• Exposure to OAuth2/OIDC, enterprise entitlement models, and secure UI integration patterns.
• Knowledge of Node.js/NPM tooling, static code analysis, dependency management, and frontend observability.
• Exposure to containerized or cloud-aligned application delivery.
• Experience with rule engines, metadata systems, governance platforms, or decisioning applications.
• Understanding of financial services, post-trade, audit, or operational control workflows.
