About this role
Responsible for the design, development, modification, debugging, and maintenance of software systems.
What Will Your Job Look Like- Design, develop, modify, debug, and maintain software code based on functional, non-functional, and technical design specifications.
- Adhere to Amdocs software engineering standards, development methodologies, and release processes to ensure code is maintainable, scalable, and supportable.
- Demonstrate software products to stakeholders as part of the development cycle.
- Investigate issues by reviewing and debugging code, providing fixes and workarounds, and validating changes for operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate within a team, participate in peer code reviews, provide feedback, and work cross-functionally to meet shared goals.
- Take technical ownership of specific modules or work products and offer support during solution design for new requirements.
- Continuously seek innovation, process improvement, and increased efficiency in all assigned tasks.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Amdocs Ensemble applications, preferably in Accounts Receivable (AR) or Billing.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Ensemble workflows.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Languages: C, Java, Python, SQL, PL/SQL
- Scripting: Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
- Knowledge of microservices and cloud technologies is a plus.
- Methodologies Mindset:
- Solid grasp of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies

- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong team spirit and mentorship capabilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams
