Social Worker

Role & responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate medical camps, cancer screening camps, health check-up camps, and awareness programs.
• Identify and establish partnerships with corporates, NGOs, schools, colleges, industries, residential communities, and other organizations for conducting health camps.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, technicians, and other hospital departments to ensure the smooth execution of outreach activities.
• Conduct community outreach and mobilize participants for health camps and awareness initiatives.
• Provide counselling and guidance to patients regarding hospital services, treatment options, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate patient registration, referrals, appointments, and post-camp follow-up activities.
• Prepare camp schedules, logistics plans, and ensure the availability of required medical equipment and supplies.
• Maintain records of camp participants, screening outcomes, referrals, and outreach activities.
• Prepare MIS reports, camp performance reports, and monthly activity summaries.
• Coordinate with CSR partners, donors, and external agencies to support community health initiatives.
• Promote hospital healthcare services and preventive health awareness within the community.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, ethical standards, and applicable healthcare regulations during all outreach activities.
• Organize health education sessions and awareness campaigns on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local authorities, and partner organizations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting manager in support of community outreach and patient welfare.
