About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern who is curious about digital marketing, understands social media trends, and enjoys creating and working with content.
You will work closely with the marketing and content teams to plan, execute, and manage social media content for brands across different industries.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing social media content calendars.
Research social media trends, formats, competitors, and relevant industry conversations.
Assist in developing content ideas for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms.
Write basic social media copy, captions, hooks, and content descriptions.
Coordinate with designers and other internal teams to get content executed on time.
Assist with scheduling and publishing social media posts.
Monitor social media performance and prepare basic reports.
Track engagement, reach, impressions, and other relevant metrics.
Stay updated on emerging social media trends, formats, and platform updates.
Support influencer collaborations, campaigns, and other digital marketing initiatives when required.
What We're Looking For
01 year of experience in social media/digital marketing; freshers are welcome to apply.
Strong interest in social media and digital marketing.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Basic understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social platforms.
Good understanding of current social media trends and content formats.
Ability to research and turn observations into content ideas.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
A proactive mindset; someone who is comfortable taking ownership and asking questions.
Good to Have
Basic knowledge of Canva or other content creation tools.
Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting.
Internship, college project, or personal experience managing social media pages.
A portfolio or examples of social media content you've created.
