Social Media Marketing Intern

About the Role
The interns will work closely with Shivani Tari to plan, create and publish content across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X and Facebook. This is a hands-on role that involves both on-camera and behind-the-scenes work.

What They Will Learn

1. How content is planned and executed for a financial services brand, from ideation to publishing
2. Writing platform-specific copy for different audiences
3. Basics of content compliance in a SEBI-regulated industry
4. Reading performance data (reach, engagement, saves, watch time) and using insights to improve content
5. Working alongside designers, video editors and the brand team
6. Exposure to stock market and personal finance concepts

What Is Expected From Them

1. Creative thinking and the ability to bring fresh ideas regularly
2. Strong understanding of current social media trends, formats, trending audio, and how platform algorithms work
3. Active personal presence on social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube or X)
4. Camera-friendly and comfortable appearing in Reels, videos, and stories
5. Willingness to create content end-to-end: ideation, scripting, shooting, and basic editing
6. Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and regional language.
7. Working knowledge of tools like Canva, CapCut, InShot, or similar editing apps
8. Interest in stock markets, investing, or personal finance (preferred, not mandatory)
9. Ability to work on quick turnarounds, especially for trending and market-moving topics
10. Attention to detail, since financial content needs to be accurate and responsible
11. Openness to feedback and eagerness to learn

Eligibility
Students pursuing or recent graduates of Mass Media, Marketing, Communication, BMS, BBA or related fields. Candidates from other backgrounds with a strong social media portfolio are also welcome.

Good to Have
1. Links to personal social media handles or a portfolio of content created
2. Prior experience running a page or a creator account
3. Basic photography or videography skills
