Role Description The Social Media Marketing Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves assisting in planning and executing social media campaigns tailored for healthcare brands across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The intern will support content creation in Tamil and English, including posts, stories, short videos, and basic captions aligned with brand guidelines and patient-focused messaging. Day-to-day responsibilities include scheduling content, monitoring engagement, responding to comments under supervision, and preparing performance reports using analytics tools. The intern will also collaborate with the marketing team on digital initiatives, research healthcare and wellness trends, and contribute ideas to enhance brand visibility and patient trust.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing, with an interest in performance-driven campaigns.
• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing, including basic design sense and storytelling for healthcare audiences.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, with the ability to create and adapt content in clear English; Tamil language skills are a strong advantage.
• Candidates should ideally be pursuing or have completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field.
• Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with major social media platforms, basic analytics, and tools such as Canva or similar content creation software.
• Candidates should be detail-oriented, willing to learn healthcare-specific guidelines and compliance, and able to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
