Social Media Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage social media accounts for multiple clients across platforms, ensuring consistent branding, engagement, and growth.
• Develop content calendars, campaign ideas, captions, and platform-specific content strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across relevant channels to improve brand awareness, audience engagement, website traffic, and lead generation.
• Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, and other team members to develop engaging digital content and marketing creatives.
• Manage social media communication and content requirements for events, including live coverage, real-time updates, stories, reels, and on-ground content coordination.
• Coordinate shoots, content collection, client approvals, scheduling, and publishing to ensure timely campaign execution.
• Monitor social media performance, website traffic, campaign metrics, and audience engagement using relevant analytics tools.
• Support paid digital marketing campaigns, including Meta Ads and Google Ads, with an understanding of campaign objectives, audience targeting, budgets, and performance tracking.
• Assist with SEO, keyword research, website content optimisation, and other digital marketing activities to improve online visibility.
• Track campaign performance, analyse insights, and prepare periodic reports with actionable recommendations.
• Stay updated on social media trends, digital marketing tools, platform updates, and audience behaviour to identify new growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to understand marketing requirements, communicate progress, and ensure timely delivery of content and campaigns.
• Contribute to integrated digital marketing strategies that align social media, content, paid advertising, and other online marketing efforts.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a similar role.
• Practical understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media marketing, paid advertising, SEO, and content marketing.
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and relevant social media management and publishing tools.
• Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, including campaign setup, audience targeting, and performance analysis.
• Understanding of social media analytics, website traffic metrics, campaign KPIs, and reporting tools such as Google Analytics 4.
• Strong written communication, caption-writing, and content planning skills.
• Ability to develop and execute digital campaigns aligned with client goals and target audiences.
• Experience coordinating with designers, video editors, clients, and internal teams to deliver campaigns efficiently.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts, projects, campaign timelines, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Willingness to work on-site at events when required, including managing live coverage and real-time content requirements.
• Strong organisational, analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• A proactive, creative, and results-oriented approach, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and digital brand presence.
