Social Media Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
• Plan and manage monthly/weekly content calendars and ensure timely execution.
• Create engaging Reels, short-form videos, carousels, static posts, stories and other digital content.
• Handle end-to-end content creation including ideation, scripting, copywriting, designing, editing and publishing.
• Design social media creatives, marketing collaterals, campaign banners and promotional content.
• Edit videos using DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut or similar tools.
• Manage and optimise Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram Ads) campaigns for awareness, engagement, traffic and lead generation.
• Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels.
• Conduct keyword research and implement basic SEO strategies for website, blogs and digital content.
• Write engaging captions, ad copies, scripts, headlines, CTAs and website/marketing content.
• Track social media and campaign performance using relevant analytics tools.
• Monitor metrics such as reach, engagement, CTR, CPC, CPM, CPL, conversions and ROAS.
• Conduct competitor research and identify emerging trends, content opportunities and new marketing channels.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop content around healthcare, technology, products, events and campaigns.
• Maintain consistency in brand identity, tone of voice and visual communication.
• Stay updated with social media trends, algorithms, digital marketing tools and emerging content formats.
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and other tools to improve content ideation and marketing workflows.

Preferred candidate profile

• 6 months 2 years of experience in Social Media Management, Digital Marketing, Content Marketing or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube.
• Hands-on experience in content creation, graphic designing and video editing.
• Good understanding of Meta Ads / Facebook Ads / Instagram Ads.
• Basic to good knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, digital marketing and performance marketing.
• Strong copywriting, creative writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Canva is required.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects and/or DaVinci Resolve is preferred.
• Ability to independently conceptualise and execute social media content.
• Strong creative thinking with an eye for design, storytelling and trends.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand social media and campaign performance.
• Candidates with a strong portfolio of social media work, campaigns, designs or videos will be preferred.
• Experience in Healthcare/HealthTech/SaaS/Startup marketing will be an added advantage.
