The Opportunity
Role: Contract
- Manage and grow Sportskeedas social media presence across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and X.
- Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to MMA and combat sports audiences.
- Create, curate, and publish engaging content around fights, fighter rivalries, breaking news, press conferences, weigh-ins, and major combat sports events.
- Monitor real-time developments and trending conversations to capitalize on timely content opportunities.
- Develop creative content formats, engagement posts, polls, quizzes that resonate with fans.
- Ensure timely and accurate coverage of major MMA and combat sports events.
- Write compelling captions, headlines, and copy that drive audience engagement and encourage conversations.
- Collaborate with editorial, design, and video teams to develop original content and execute campaigns.
- Track social media performance, analyze engagement metrics, and identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and audience growth.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends, competitor strategies, and evolving platform features to keep content fresh and relevant.
Requirements- Strong command of English, with excellent writing and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of MMA, UFC, boxing, and other combat sports.
- Up to date with the latest fights, fighter rivalries, match announcements, results, and industry developments.
- A strong understanding of combat sports fans, online communities, and social media trends.
- Proven experience managing social media accounts, preferably in sports or entertainment.
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, X, and other major social platforms.
