Job Description

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for end-to-end social media management across all client departments and will serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) between the client departments and the social media team. The role will oversee content planning, coordination, approvals, publishing, monitoring, reporting, and team management.

The candidate should have 7+ years of experience in social media management, digital communications, content strategy, and team coordination

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Client SPOC: Coordinate with all departments, understand requirements, collect inputs, and manage communication.
• Issue & Escalation Management: Track pending inputs, approvals, assets, and dependencies; escalate critical issues to the Project Manager.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Conduct regular reviews with client departments and escalate issues, dependencies, and resource requirements to project management.
• Department Coordination: Collect, consolidate, prioritize, and communicate department-wise requirements.
• Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute department-wise social media strategies, calendars, and campaigns.
• Content Management: Plan and oversee creation of graphics, videos, reels, captions, and other digital content.
• Approval & Publishing: Manage the complete workflow from requirement and content creation to client approval and publishing.
• Team Management: Lead and coordinate social media executives, content writers, designers, and video editors.
• Campaign Management: Plan and coordinate social media campaigns, events, festivals, government initiatives, and awareness activities.
• Social Media Monitoring: Monitor comments, messages, mentions, engagement, and coordinate responses with respective departments.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track performance and prepare weekly/monthly reports with key insights and recommendations.
• Quality Control: Ensure accuracy, consistency, branding, approvals, and compliance before publishing.

Plan, execute, and optimize Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns for lead generation and conversions.

Monitor campaign performance, budgets, CPL, CTR, conversions, and ROI, and optimize campaigns accordingly.

Implement SEO, keyword research, and website content optimization activities

• Content Planning: Preparing daily/weekly/monthly content calendars.
