Social Media and Content Strategy Consultant

Earth Inherited is building the content and ecosystem platform. India's sustainability space is missing. We make sustainability practical, relatable, and connected, for professionals and curious urbanites who keep encountering it at work and in life but don't have a place that speaks directly to them.

What you'll do

• Write captions and post our content across Instagram and LinkedIn, on schedule
• Think through engaging story ideas alongside our hygiene content and hero content, not just caption the assets we hand you
• Design and test thumbnails, and know what makes someone stop scrolling versus keep going
• Coordinate with our designer and video editor to keep the content calendar moving without delays
• Maintain a clean, up to date record of what has been posted, when, and how it performed
• Track engagement and flag what is working and what is not, without waiting to be asked
• Help plan the content calendar after identifying themes and pillars to focus on.

Who we're looking for

• 1 to 2 years of experience managing social media for a brand, platform, or publication
• Ability to articulate clearly and write captions that sound like a person, not a brand
• Good taste in content, you can tell the difference between something that will scroll past and something that will stop someone
• Comfortable with basic design tools for thumbnails and quick visual testing
• Organised and reliable, you do not let the posting calendar slip

Bonus if you:

• Have basic working experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads
• Have followed or engaged with sustainability, ESG, or climate content before, even casually

Details

• Approx. 3 to 4 posts a week, translating to roughly 4 hours a day
• Remote, Mumbai preferred
