SOC Manager

Role Overview

The SOC Manager will lead the banks Security Operations Centre, responsible for 24x7 monitoring and operational excellence. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to drive a mature security operations function aligned with regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end operations of the Security Operations Centre (SOC).
• Oversee real-time monitoring of security events, threat intelligence, and incident analysis.
• Manage SOC analysts, senior analysts, and shift leads
• Establish and enhance SOC processes, playbooks, escalation procedures, and SLAs.
• Coordinate major incident response activities and communication with senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement across detection, triage, investigation, and response workflows.
• Ensure alignment with RBI, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and internal audit requirements.
• Collaborate with technology, cyber risk, compliance, and business teams for threat mitigation.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA), post-incident reviews, and strategic security initiatives.
• Oversee SOC reporting frameworksdaily, weekly, monthly dashboards for leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years experience in cybersecurity with 6+ years in SOC leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in SIEM platforms (Securonix, XSIAM, Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel).
• Deep knowledge of incident investigation & response and cyber-attack lifecycle.
