Snowflake Developer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Lead the development team in designing, building, and deploying scalable and efficient Snowflake-based solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical roadmaps.
• Design and implement data models, ETL processes, and data governance policies using Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on Snowflake best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines.

Job Requirements :

• Proficiency in Snowflake SQL, Snowpark, and Python is mandatory.
• Deliver AI-first solutions using Snowflake Cortex/Cortex Cloud and LLMs (OpenAI/Azure OpenAI or Anthropic Claude): RAG, embeddings, vector search define prompt engineering, evaluation, safety/guardrails. Own program delivery (roadmap, budgets, risks, vendors) and translate business outcomes into technical plans.
• Experience with DBT, Task Streams, and Airflow/ADF is desirable.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure (ADLS, ADF, DevOps).
