Job Description Job Title : Snowflake Developer with DBT Job Type : Full-Time / Contract Experience : 8-15 years Location : Hyderabad, Telangana

Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Extensive experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling.
• Strong expertise in SQL, including complex query development and performance tuning.
• Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT workflows.
• Proficiency in data modeling concepts, including dimensional modeling, star schema, and snowflake schema design.
• Experience with data integration, orchestration, and workflow automation tools.
• Experience implementing CI/CD practices for data engineering projects.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or similar platforms.
• Experience with BI and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Experience in data migration, cloud modernization, and enterprise data warehouse projects.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture and modern data stack principles.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and security frameworks.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake and DBT.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple source systems.
• Develop robust data models, including dimensional and normalized models, to support analytics and reporting requirements.
• Create reusable DBT models, macros, tests, and documentation following best practices.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through efficient warehouse design, query tuning, clustering, partitioning, and resource management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, architects, and engineering teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement data quality, validation, governance, and monitoring frameworks.
• Develop and maintain data integration processes using Python, SQL, and JavaScript.
• Support data migration and modernization initiatives from legacy platforms to Snowflake.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis for data-related problems.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
