Snowflake Data Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and Databricks

Build and optimize ETLELT workflows for batch and realtime data processing

Develop data ingestion frameworks using Snowpipe Auto Loader Streams Tasks and Delta Lake

Implement data transformation logic using Spark SQL Python and Databricks notebooks

Design dimensional models data marts and enterprise data warehouse solutions

Perform Snowflake performance tuning query optimization clustering and workload management

Develop and support CDC SCD Type 12 and incremental data loading frameworks

Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs databases cloud storage and streaming platforms

Ensure data quality governance security lineage and compliance standards

Support cloud deployments CICD automation and production issue resolution

Collaborate with business stakeholders architects and analytics teams to deliver data solutions
