Snowflake Data Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake.
• Develop and support ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation workflows.
• Design and implement data warehouse and data mart solutions.
• Perform data modeling and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, scalability, and cost utilization.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand data requirements.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are maintained.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, performance, and reporting.
• Support production deployments and ongoing maintenance activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2-5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or ETL Development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake development and administration concepts.
• Excellent SQL programming and query optimization skills.
• Experience in ETL/ELT development and data integration projects.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and cloud-based data platforms.
• Exposure to DBT, Python, AWS, or Azure is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
