Snowflake Architect

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake administration and platform architecture. The ideal candidate will also act as a Product Owner, driving the vision, roadmap, and governance of the Snowflake data platform while ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the Snowflake platform vision, roadmap, and strategy
• Standardize environments across development, testing, and production
• Implement security frameworks including RBAC, SSO/SCIM, MFA, and network policies
• Manage data masking, auditing, retention, and compliance requirements
• Optimize Snowflake warehouses for performance and cost efficiency
• Govern data ingestion using Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
• Monitor performance using resource monitors and query history
• Collaborate with engineering, InfoSec, data governance, and finance teams
• Act as a Product Owner, managing backlog, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment
• Ensure smooth incident and change management processes

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering / data architecture
• Strong hands-on experience as a Snowflake Architect and Administrator
• Advanced SQL expertise
• Strong understanding of data governance and security practices
• Experience with cloud storage integrations (AWS S3 / Azure ADLS)
• Experience in incident and change management
• Ability to define architecture and implement scalable data solutions

Preferred Skills:

• Snowflake certification such as SnowPro
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in handling large-scale enterprise data platforms
