Snowflake Administrator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Snowflake Administrator with 2-5 years of experience in administering and supporting Snowflake environments. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Snowflake administration, security management, performance optimization, user management, and cloud-based data platforms.

Role & Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Snowflake environments.
• Create and manage users, roles, warehouses, databases, and schemas.
• Implement RBAC, security policies, and access controls.
• Monitor system performance and optimize Snowflake workloads.
• Configure resource monitors and manage warehouse utilization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform, performance, and access issues.
• Support migration, deployment, and environment management activities.
• Ensure data security, governance, backup, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams.
• Maintain operational documentation and support procedures.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2-5 years of experience in Snowflake Administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake platform management.
• Excellent SQL and query tuning skills.
• Experience managing users, roles, and security policies.
• Knowledge of RBAC, warehouse sizing, and performance tuning.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience supporting production environments.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
