Responsibilities

• Snowflake Administration & Operations: Administer and manage Snowflake environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod)
• Configure and manage virtual warehouses, databases, schemas, and resource monitors
• Monitor system performance, query execution, and warehouse utilization
• Participate in Snowflake account setup, configuration, and upgrades
• Security & Access Management: Manage users, roles, privileges, and role hierarchy
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC)
• Integrate Snowflake with SSO / Azure AD / Okta

Technical and Professional Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Snowflake Administrator
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud
• Deep understanding of: Snowflake architecture
• Virtual warehouses
• Micro-partitions
• Time Travel and Fail-safe
• Experience with SQL performance tuning
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Snowflake replication and failover
• Exposure to Snowflake data sharing
• Automation using Python or PowerShell
• Experience integrating Snowflake with ETL tools (Informatica, ADF, Airflow)
• Snowflake Certification (SnowPro Core / Advanced)
• Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy)
