Snowflake Admin

Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Administrator with 5 years of hands on experience in managing administering and optimizing Snowflake Data Cloud environments
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for platform stability performance tuning security cost optimization and operational support of Snowflake across multiple environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Snowflake Administration Operations
• Administer and manage Snowflake environments Dev Test UAT Prod
• Configure and manage virtual warehouses databases schemas and resource monitors
• Monitor system performance query execution and warehouse utilization
• Participate in Snowflake account setup configuration and upgrades
• Security Access Management
• Manage users roles privileges and role hierarchy
• Implement role based access control RBAC
• Integrate Snowflake with SSO Azure AD Okta

Technical Requirements:

• 5 years of experience as a Snowflake Administrator
• Strong hands on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud
• Deep understanding of
• Snowflake architecture
• Virtual warehouses
• Micro partitions
• Time Travel and Fail safe
• Experience with SQL performance tuning
• Knowledge of cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP
• Experience with Linux Unix environments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Good to Have Preferred Skills
• Experience with Snowflake replication and failover
• Exposure to Snowflake data sharing
• Automation using Python or PowerShell
• Experience integrating Snowflake with ETL tools Informatica ADF Airflow
• Snowflake Certification SnowPro Core Advanced
• Experience with ITSM tools ServiceNow Remedy
